What are the symptoms of the Corona Virus (COVID-19)?
Fever, dry cough, difficulty in breathing are some of the common symptoms of Corona Virus. Other than these, infected people may experience tiredness, body aches, runny nose, and sore throat.
Older people and people with underlying medical problems like high blood pressure, heart problems or diabetes, are more likely to develop serious illness. Thus, if you or someone you know has any of the above-mentioned symptoms, it is advisable to seek medical help immediately.
Prevention measures for Corona Virus (COVID-19)
As the pandemic is spreading across the globe, it is essential for us to implement preventive measures. Few of the preventive measures recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) are:
Frequent Hand Washing:
Wash hands using soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub for at least 20 seconds.
Close your mouth and nose:
Whenever you sneeze, or cough, cover your nose and mouth with the tissue or with a bent elbow.
Avoid touching mouth, eyes, and nose:
Our hands are constantly touching various surfaces and are thus unclean. Touching our mouth, and eyes with the same hands may transfer viruses in our bodies.
Avoiding contact is another way to prevent yourself from the disease. Instead of greeting people with Handshake, greet people with Namaste. Avoid visiting crowded places. Furthermore, as cash is one of the top things that frequently change hands, avoid using physical cash as much as possible. Instead of using cash, using a digital wallet is one of the best ways to prevent the spread of disease.
Isolation
If you have any of the symptoms of the Corona Virus, then isolate yourself from others and seek medical help. This way, you protect yourself as well as others from transmitting the disease.
Therefore, in order to be safe from the rapidly spreading Corona Virus, washing hands regularly, maintaining social distance, using digital wallets instead of cash and isolation are some of the preventive measures.
