Claim Process for eSewa Care and eSewa Life Care 

Whereas, eSewa Care and eSewa Life Care provides not only an easy service to buy but also easy claim process. An easy 3 step purchasing product also comes with an easy 3 step Claim.

All you have to do is call the insurance service provider, share the details, and wait to receive the claim settlement. 

  1. Call: Customer can call to eSewa’s Customer Support or to the number provided in the SMS confirmation while purchasing eSewa Care.
  2. Share: After call, customer is required to share all the documents for the Claim verification & process.
  3. Receive: When the verification process is completed, customer will receive their Claim in their eSewa Wallet or Bank Account. Customers can visit any hospitals of Nepal and receive the Claim for the accidental treatment or to be hospitalized.

Claim Requirements

  1. Original document of doctor’s prescription.
  2. Original document of discharge summary.
  3. Original bills of medical expenses.
  4. The claim form provided by Himalayan Everest Insurance.

Important Notes

  • Customers must request for the Claim within 35 days of the Bill date.
  • Documents will be verified by the Himalayan Everest team.
  • Verification process will be started after receiving all the documents.
  • The process may take up to 7-10 days.

Claim Denial

  1. Complications of pregnancy, miscarriage, abortion, birth control, sterilization or infertility treatment.
  2. Mental or nervous breakdown, congenital or hereditary defects or conditions such as HIVs or any sexually transmitted disease, alcohol or substance abuse self-inflicted injury, suicide or any attempt, and organ transplant elective surgery.
  3. Prostheses Cosmetic plastic or reconstructive surgery if not the result of an insured injury.
  4. Hospital expenses outside Nepal.
  5. Routine tests such as eye exams, dental treatments or other tests will not be an emergency.
  6. Hospitalization expenses for any person less than 2 years and above 60 years of age.
  7. Pre-existing diseases or medical conditions will not be covered.
