Our journey as Nepal’s First online payment gateway started in January 2009. At the time, we started with a mission to make online payment for utilities such as top up and electricity bills available all over Nepal, including the far-off and rural places of Nepal. What began as an idea of just 3 college friends has at present become the country’s biggest digital wallet company.
The journey definitely had many road blocks, from onboarding merchants to gaining trust from banks, and, the hardest part of it all: convincing Nepalese that they could make payments online, especially at a time when most people were skeptic about the technology.
Overcoming all the hardships, today, we stand tall in Nepal’s online payment industry. We feel proud to have successfully gained the trust of our customers and enabled digital payments for not only utility bills, but for travelling, shopping, insurance and many more.
Celebrating our 11 years of operation, today, we conducted a small cake cutting ceremony and team lunch.
