Mr. Prayash Bhandari, a resident of Far-Western Nepal had just finished his +2 exams when COVID-19 cases rose to the peak. Because of the situation, he could not attend engineering preparation classes in the capital city, which he had always wanted to do. In the meantime, he discovered the online PEA classes and decided to take them. After attending the classes for almost a week, he had to pay the fees, but he wasn’t sure how to send the money. Just then, his teacher suggested he send the fees using eSewa.
Mr. Bhandari says “I used eSewa for the first time to pay for my PEA classes fees and was amazed by the smoothness of the transaction, all I had to do was some clicks and the amount was sent to the institute. Then, I eventually began to use other services, such as Internet bill payment, Top-up, Send Money, and QR Scan & Pay at restaurants and other stores. These days, I especially use eSewa to pay my college fees, as it eliminates the need to carry cash. Moreover, I would like to be able to subscribe to Netflix directly from eSewa”.
