Sabbu Maharjan, a student of Public Health at Manmohan Memorial Institute of Health Sciences frequently visits villages for fieldwork. She travels to the remote places of Nepal where even grocery stores are not always available. In these distant areas, Internet is still a far-fetched dream.
She says, in times when she is going for fieldwork, eSewa’s offline recharge facility has helped her a lot. Before eSewa, she struggled to wait till they reached near headquarters so that she could purchase recharge card and add balance to her phone. But now, even when she is at rural places, she uses offline mode of eSewa for mobile recharge.
Apart from this, like any other normal user, Ms. Sabbu uses eSewa for paying her Internet bills, electricity bills and movie ticketing.
