eSewa offers a wide range of digital payment and financial services, many of which are available without additional charges. However, certain services may have applicable service charges depending on the type of service or transaction amount.
The applicable tariffs and service charges are listed below for reference:
Send Money
- Transactions below Rs. 100 are free.
- Transactions above Rs. 100 are free up to 3 times daily and 30 times monthly.
- Beyond these limits, a service charge of Rs. 10 per transaction will be applied.
CIT Payments (Pension Scheme and Loan Repayment)
A service charge of Rs. 8 per transaction is applicable to CIT payments (pension scheme and loan repayment) through eSewa, effective from 11th December 2024.
ATM Withdrawal
A flat service charge of Rs. 15 per transaction is applicable to ATM withdrawals from an eSewa account (effective from 1st July, 2023).
Bank transfer (Bank withdrawal)

Bank withdrawals of up to Rs. 100,000 per transaction are available only to the user's own bank account linked to their eSewa account. For other bank accounts, the transaction limit remains Rs. 50,000 per transaction.

Education Fee Payment
A service charge of Rs. 10 (exclusive of VAT) is applicable to each transaction.
Microfinance Payment
A service charge of Rs. 10 is applicable to each transaction (effective from 15th January, 2024).
EMI Payment
A service charge of Rs. 10, exclusive of VAT, is applicable to each hire purchase and finance EMI transaction (last updated on 26th June, 2026).
Bluebook Renewal
A service charge of Rs. 250 is applicable to Bluebook renewal payments through eSewa (effective from 1st September, 2026).

Service charge of Rs. 5 per transaction is applicable to Health Insurance Board renewal payments made through eSewa.
eScrow
A KYC-verified eSewa user can transfer funds to another KYC-verified eSewa user through eScrow.
The service is available for transfers ranging from a minimum of Rs. 100 to a maximum of Rs. 25,000. The applicable service charges are borne by the receiver.

The Rs. 50 dispute handling charge may be charged to either the sender or receiver for verification purposes, depending on whom the transaction is settled to. Users are advised to carefully consider their decision before filing a complaint.

Auditor's Association of Nepal (AUDAN)
The following service charges apply to AUDAN membership renewal fee payments:

Terms and conditions
- Users are prohibited from using eSewa services to enable payments for goods and services deemed illegal under the prevailing laws of Nepal.
- Users should transfer funds only to trusted contacts or after meeting the concerned person face-to-face. eSewa will not be liable if the receiver defaults on any promise to repay, return, or deliver goods or services against the transfer.
- An additional 13% VAT is applicable to the service charges mentioned above, wherever applicable.
- Service charges and applicable transaction limits may be subject to change. Users are advised to check the latest applicable tariffs before making a transaction.
