Himalayan Bank is the latest addition to the portfolio of eSewa’s BFIs affiliation for swift electronic transfer of funds. With 49 partner banks and financial institutions already integrated into eSewa, the addition of Himalayan Bank is expected to further strengthen Nepal’s digital financial ecosystem by enabling users to make transfer of funds seamless. This partnership further strengthens Nepal’s digital financial landscape, ensuring customers have wider access to seamless and secure digital transactions.
Following this partnership, Himalayan Bank customers can now load funds directly into their eSewa wallet using the bank’s mobile banking app (HI-MB), while eSewa users can transfer money from their eSewa wallet to their Himalayan Bank account.
How to load funds into eSewa from Himalayan Bank Mobile Banking App?
The process is pretty easy and by following these simple steps, users can seamlessly load their eSewa wallet using their HI-MB App
- Step 1: Log in to your HI-BI App by entering your credentials.
- Step 2: Go to the “Load Wallet” option under the Payments/Transfers section.
- Step 3: Enter your wallet number, the amount to be loaded, and the reason for the transfer.
- Step 4: After filling in all the details, tap on the “Proceed” button.
- Step 5: Verify the details and enter your transaction PIN to complete the loading process.
Once the transaction is successful, you will see a receipt on your mobile screen. For additional confirmation, you can check your wallet balance or review the transaction history in the app.
How to transfer funds to Himalayan Bank from eSewa ?
This process as well is as easy as or even easier. All you have to do is follow these five simple steps
- Step 1: Log in to your eSewa wallet.
- Step 2: Go to the “Bank Transfer” and search or Himalayan Bank.
- Step 3: Enter your bank details, the amount to be transferred, and the remarks for transfer.
- Step 4: After filling in all the details, tap on the “Proceed” button.
- Step 5: Verify the details and enter your transaction PIN to complete the loading process.
Alternatively, you can just scan the QR Code of receipt Himalayan Bank Account from your scanner, enter the amount, and proceed to confirm.
