We would like to inform you that the transaction limits for the following types of transactions have been revised as per the Nepal Rastra Bank Payment System Directive #5/075 (in regards to the transaction limit from electronic channels) dated 16 Magh, 2079, to be effective immediately.
These transaction limits were last updated on Jestha 01, 2081.

A. Maximum Wallet Balance at End of the Day:
Users are allowed to hold the balance as per the below slab wallet at the end of the day. Users should spend or withdraw any excess balance exceeding the limit before the day ends.

Verified users can do wallet-to-wallet (P2P) transfers as per the threshold below whereas unverified users can not do wallet-to-wallet transfers.

C. Cash in from eSewa ‘Cash In’ Agents:
Users can do cash in transfers as per below limit threshold:

D. Payment Transaction Limits:
Users can make payments to the amount billed by the merchant. However, unverified users won’t be able to transact more than NRs. 2500/- per month.
E. Wallet to Bank Withdrawal:
Note: These limitations are applicable from 5th September, 2024 onwards until further notice.

The limit for bank withdrawal to a particular bank account from single, or multiple eSewa accounts is NRs. 2,00,000 or 10 times per day NRs. 10,00,000 or 100 times per month.
Note: Unverified users won’t be allowed to perform the withdrawal transaction.
F. Account Link Transaction Limits:
Users can link their KYC verified eSewa account with their own bank account and make payments as mentioned below:

These limits are applicable in accordance with the English calendar month.
G. Wallet Balance:

Please note that users will not be able to load more than the above mentioned balance to their wallet.
