We would like to inform you that the transaction limits for the following types of transactions have been revised as per the Nepal Rastra Bank Payment System Directive #5/075 (in regard to the transaction limit from electronic channels) dated 19th Bhadra, 2083, to be effective immediately.
These transaction limits were last updated on 19th Bhadra, 2083.
A. Maximum Wallet Balance at End of the Day
Users are allowed to hold the balance as per the below slab wallet at the end of the day. Users should spend or withdraw any excess balance exceeding the limit before the day ends.

Verified users can do wallet-to-wallet (P2P) transfers as per the threshold below, whereas unverified users cannot do wallet-to-wallet transfers.

C. Cash in from eSewa 'Cash In' Agents
Users can do cash-in transfers as per the below limit threshold:

D. Payment Transaction Limits
Users can make payments to the amount billed by the merchant.
E. Wallet to Bank Withdrawal
Note: These limitations are applicable from 5th September, 2024, onwards until further notice.

Note: Unverified users won’t be allowed to perform the withdrawal transaction.

Users can link their KYC-verified eSewa account with their own bank account and make payments as mentioned below:

These limits are applicable in accordance with the English calendar month.
G. Wallet Balance
