Cricket is one of the most popular games in the world. At the interval of every 4 years, International Cricket Council (ICC) organizes Cricket World Cup which currently includes 10 teams competing for the World Champion Title. The last Cricket World Cup took place in 2019 with England emerging as the winner in one of the most dramatic and historic game ever. The next tournament is scheduled to take place in India on 2023.
Nepal, USA, Oman, Scotland, UAE, Namibia, and PNG are playing in ICC Men’s CWC League 2 Championship. Top 3 teams from League 2 will directly be qualified to play World Cup Qualifier where they will be meeting bottom 5 teams from Super League. (Super League = Top 12 Full members teams + The Netherlands)
India (Host Nation), Top 7 teams from Super League and top 2 teams from World Cup Qualifier round will be competing for the World Cup 2023 Championship Title.
Competition for World Cup Qualifier has already begun and Nepal is hosting tri-series between Nepal, Oman and USA at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground from 5th February to 12th February 2020. eSewa is going to be the exclusive ticketing partner for the games with ticket prices set as Rs. 300 for weekend games, Rs. 200 for Nepal’s games and Rs. 100 for other teams’ games during weekdays.
