1. What is eSewa Care?

eSewa Care is a Health Care package prepared by eSewa for customers where they can find different kinds of facilities to improve their health @ just Rs. 360/year with benefits worth more than Rs. 1 Lakh.

2. Why do you need to buy eSewa Care?

Customers can find multiple offers related to Health Care products for 1 year through the package.

3. What are the benefits?

Customers will receive more than Rs. 100,000 worth of benefits @ just Rs. 360/year which includes Free Consultation on Dental Health, Rs. 500 off on Dental Scaling, up to 20% discount on Hair & Beaty Spas & Accidental Insurance up to Rs. 230,000/-

4. How to claim the benefits?

a. Customers must visit our Merchants with the PDF of eSewa Care for discounts and consultation. 

b. And, for Accidental Insurance, the customer can contact HEI and provide the required documents.

5. For how long are the offers valid?

The offers are valid for a year starting from the purchase date of eSewa Care. 

6. How many times can a customer claim the offers?

Each offer is valid only 1 time per year.

7. What is covered in Accidental Insurance?

Accidental Insurance covers:

a. Hospital bed charge coverage up to Rs. 10,000 per day, at a rate of Rs. 1,000 per day.

b. Death & Disability up to Rs. 100,000/-

c. Accidental Medical Rs. 100,000/-

d. Funeral Transportation Rs. 10,000/-

e. Funeral Expenses Rs. 10,000/-

8. What is the claim process for Accidental Insurance?
a. Inform HEI to intimate claim within 35 days.

b. Attending doctor’s prescriptions in original or copy.

c. Discharge summary in original or copy.

d. Claim form to be completed by the claimant.

Note: Claim can be requested only after 24 hours of the purchase.

9. What is not covered in Accidental Insurance?
a. Pre-existing disease treatments are not covered.

b. Complications of pregnancy, miscarriage, abortion birth control sterilization, or infertility treatment.

c. Mental or nervous breakdown, congenital or heredity defects or conditions such as HIV/AIDS or any sexually transmitted disease, alcoholism or substance abuse self-inflicted injury suicide or any attempt, and organ transplants elective surgery.

d. Prostheses cosmetic plastic or reconstructive surgery unless it results from an insured accidental injury.

e. Hospital expenses incurred outside of Nepal.

f. Hospitalization claim can be made only after 30 days of purchase.

g. Routine eye tests dental treatment or other examinations and/or tests not incidental to treatment or diagnosis of an insured injury sickness or disease.

h. Hospitalization expenses incurred outside of Nepal.

i. Hospitalization expenses incurred for any person over the age of sixty (60).

11. Why is my transaction on the pending/ambiguous stage?

Transactions sometimes stays on pending/ambiguous stagedue to technical issues. We complete these transactions and make manually successful from our side.

12. I have made double payments; please refund my payments.

In case of double payment, the transaction will get refunded.

13. What is the tenure of this service?

This service is valid for 1 year from the purchase date.

This service is valid for 1 year from the purchase date.

16. How can I know the tenure of this service?

You can check through your statement or contact us to know the tenure time.

17. I have made mistaken payments for this service. What is the procedure for canceling this service?

Once your pay for the service, you will be eligible for the eSewa Care for 1 year. If you want to cancel it, we can request for the cancellation of the service which will take up to 24 hours of the request received.

18. Where can I claim this service?

  • You can contact eSewa or the mobile number which is provided through SMS while purchasing eSewa Care. We will inform you about the claim process.

19. How many times will I be able to claim this service?

  • You can claim until the amount of Rs. 230,000 is remained up to 1 year period of time.

20. Do I get cash back on this service?

  • If you have Business profile in eSewa, you will receive Rs. 50/- per transaction. If you have User profile, then it may depend on what offer eSewa is running during the time.

21. In which cases will I be able to claim these services, and in which services will I not?

  • Incase of Accidental claim and Hospitalized cases.

22. Where do I get the policy number for this service?

  • This policy doesn’t have number or paper. It is created through the Name & Mobile Number you have entered during the purchase.

23. What is the tenure to be claimed for the services of the payments?

  • You have to claim within a year of your eSewa Care purchase.

24. I have entered the mistake, but what is the procedure for changing the number?

  • In case of mistake Name/Number, you can contact eSewa. The changes will be done within 48 hours of request.

25. What are the services I will be able to get after buying these services?

  • Up to 35% discount on more than 30 merchants.
  • Hospital bed charge coverage up to Rs. 10,000 per day, at a rate of Rs. 1,000 per day.

26. Where do I have to go for the claim for the products?

  • You can request for the claim through phone by calling eSewa.

27. How many reward points will I get after buying this product?

  • There are no Reward Points on this service.

28. Will these services be applicable to the children?

  • This service is applicable for age group of 2 to 60 years.

29. How many family members will I be able to add to this product?

  • You can add up to 4 members one time. If you need to add other more members, you can do in next transaction.

30. Will I be able to claim these services through eSewa applications?

  • Currently, there is no such facility.

31. What are the documents required for the claim for this product?

  • Claim form (will be provided by Himalayan Everest Insurance)
  • Original hospital documents/bills.
  • Doctor’s prescription.

32. How much time will it take to claim the amount?

  • It will take up to 10 working days.

33. In which hospital do I need to be admitted to claim this service?

  • Any registered hospital all over Nepal. Clinics& Healthcare Centers will not be counted for claim.
