Managing unexpected expenses can be stressful, but now there’s a smarter and more convenient way to access funds. eSewa is excited to introduce the Loan Against Insurance Policy feature for Reliable Nepal Life Insurance policyholders.
Previously available only for Citizen Life Insurance, this service has now been expanded to include Reliable Nepal Life Insurance as well. With this feature, customers can quickly secure a loan against their existing life insurance policy, securely and directly from their mobile phone.
How to Apply?
- Login to your eSewa app.
- Go to the ‘Insurance’ section.
- Click on ‘Loan on Policy’ under ‘Life Insurance’ section.
- Select ‘Reliable Life’.
- Enter your policy number (as provided by your insurer).
- Enter the desired loan amount and tap Proceed.
- Select your loan purpose and submit.
Things to Remember Before Applying:
- KYC Verification in eSewa is mandatory.
- The mobile number in your eSewa ID must match the number registered with your insurer.
- The date of birth in your eSewa KYC must match the insurer’s records.
- Current loan limit: Rs. 5,000 – Rs. 50,000.
