What is ATM Withdrawal Feature ?
Traditionally, digital wallets have primarily focused on in-app transactions or transferring funds to a bank account for withdrawal. However, eSewa has taken a step further by enabling users to directly withdraw cash from ATMs using their eSewa Wallet.
How does it work?
This feature allows users to withdraw funds available at your eSewa wallet from bank’s ATM Machine. eSewa users should initiate the withdrawal process at their eSewa App, and then go to the nearest ATM machine and complete the withdrawal process there. While initiating the process, eSewa sends the OTP in the registered mobile number, which users should verify the ATM terminal. Once the details including mobile number and OTP are validated at ATM machine, users can withdraw cash.
How to do ATM Withdraw ?
eSewa ATM Withdraw feature works in two phases: initially a user should generate token/OTP on eSewa app and then go the nearest ATM to withdraw money with that token. Here’s how its done:
Generating OTP
- Login to your eSewa App
- Scroll down to “Financial Payments”
- Select “ATM Withdraw” and Select NIC Asia Bank
- Enter Withdrawal Amount, Purpose, Remarks & Proceed
- Check the details & Confirm
- Enter MPIN and Complete the Transaction
- Upon completion, you will get OTP in your eSewa registered mobile number.
Withdraw Cash
- Go to nearest NIC Asia Bank ATM Machine
- Click on “Cardless Transactions”
- Choose “Other Cardless Withdrawal” and then on “eSewa Cash Withdrawal”
- Select your preferred language and proceed
- Enter your mobile number and press Select “Continue”
- Enter your OTP and Select “Proceed”
- Enter the withdrawal amount and Select “Withdrawal”
- Double check the appear on the screen and press “Yes”
- Wait for the machine to hand you cash
