At eSewa, we understand that linking your bank account can sometimes be confusing, especially when it comes to the information that needs to match between your bank’s KYC (Know Your Customer) and eSewa’s KYC. To help clarify this process for our users, we have categorized the banks into two groups based on the details that need to be matched.

Category 1: Username and Mobile Number Matching

In this category, the following banks require that the username and mobile number must be similar in both your bank’s KYC and eSewa’s KYC:

For example, if your username is “Zaved Ali” and your mobile number is “+977-123456789” in eSewa, these details must exactly match the information registered with your bank.

Category 2: Username, Mobile Number, and Date of Birth Matching

In this category, the following banks require that the username, mobile number, and date of birth must match between your bank’s KYC and eSewa’s KYC:

For example, if your username is “Ram Shah“, your mobile number is “+977-987654321“, and your date of birth is “January 1, 1990” in eSewa, these details must match exactly with what is recorded in your bank’s records.
