Transfer funds securely with “Secured Transfer”

Even though the digital platforms have changed the way we do things and eased our busy lives, there are always risks involved in it. Therefore, to minimize such risks and protect our users, we have come up with a new service “Secured Transfer“.

What is Secured Transfer?

The Secured Transfer is an escrow service. It allows eSewa users to make payments to another eSewa wallet in the safest way possible. The main feature of this service is that the paid amount is held in Sender’s account during the transaction. After completion of the obligations by the receiver, the receiver will receive the amount after the sender releases it. The main objective of the service is to manage fund transfer transactions by assuring both the sender and receiver while using the Send Money feature. This feature will be particularly helpful to users who are sending money to an unknown person i.e. to the person they do not have any personal connection with. This feature will help in mitigating risks involved in sending money for a payment to an unknown contact and also in reducing the fraudulent transactions securing buyer’s money against any fraud from the sellers.

Where is the service available?

The “Secured Transfer” service is available on the “Send Money” feature itself. It ensures managed fund transfer and also assures customers against any fraud while making payment to unknown users..

How does it work?

At this stage, the amount will be released and transferred to the receiver’s wallet. Service charge will be deducted from the receiver’s wallet.

You can manage these types of transactions on your own whether to release/request the amount or file a complaint if there is any dispute in the transaction. Both the sender and the receiver have access to file a complaint if the goods/services are not delivered as promised or the Sender does not release the amount after completing the obligations. A complaint can be raised by clicking on the “Complain” button.
