“Project Kirana”: Scan and Pay

In alignment with the target of Digital 2020, organizations under F1Soft group: eSewa and Fonepay have collaborated for “Project Kirana”. Project Kirana is an initiation of Fonepay, supported by eSewa which will run for 3 months from July 1^st to the end of September. The main motto of this project is that when QR payments are available at even the smallest of stores, people will become more aware and motivated towards using digital payment platforms.

For the project, 20 grocery stores with eSewa’s QR were selected from the valley and were provided with the necessary training. These merchants are spread across locations like Paknajol, Gothatar, Balkot, Kusunti, Mhepi, and more. When a grocery shop reaches the target of 100 unique transactions (unique customers) within a month, they will be rewarded.
