eSewa Fellowship is a 3 months long program which aims to educate the youth regarding the importance and advantages of digital payments. Fellows will gain knowledge about the advantages of digital initiatives and its contribution to a transparent economy. Fellows will be visiting colleges and selecting the best students. These students will be provided with in-depth training related to global practices on digital payment, and mobile money. College students will be responsible for educating other college students regarding the digital payments. Our fellows will be responsible for overseeing and supervising the process.
These students will be acting as the digital ambassadors and gain the opportunity to improve their communication and leadership skills by participating in school/college visits and share their learning. Through this fellowship, on one hand, more Nepalese will be educated and motivated to take part in the digital journey, while on the other hand the fellows will get to build leadership, public speaking and problem-solving skills. The learning about digital payments and the interpersonal skills developed throughout this fellowship program can further be utilized by fellows in their future endeavors.
Fellowship candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree, ability to work in Nepal for at least 3 months and dedication towards eSewa fellowship’s goal of youth-driven digital payment initiative for the full duration of fellowship.
